After starting a marketing business (INSTAGRAM @unpublishedperth) i’ve had to become more efficient with my time and part of that involves figuring out how to workout in 30. An intense workout that I can do anywhere, even when travelling, without equipment.
When I can’t make it to a training session with BodyRight Bootcamp due to work commitments i’ve been filling in the gaps with tabata which is what led me to upping the anti with this workout. It’s also great if you are going on holiday for a few weeks and want to make sure you are balancing out the all you can eat hotel buffets.
So give it a go, let me know what you think.
For those that aren’t familiar with Tabata it consists of a few different exercises, each exercise repeated 8 times in 20 second intervals and 10 second breaks in between.
For example if your chosen exercise is jump squats you would intensely jump squat with 100% energy for 20 second bursts, 8 times with 10 second breaks in between. Don’t worry you don’t have to count them out there are apps for that.*
So here goes, how to workout in 30:
200m sprint
Burpees (8 x 20 seconds)
200m sprint
Jump squats (8 x 20 seconds)
200m sprint
Jump lunges (8 x 20 seconds)
200m sprint
Crunches (8 x 20 seconds)
200m sprint
Burpees (8 x 20 seconds)

On another note this shoot was done in between Perth’s temperamental weather courtesy of Shot by Thom. Wearing the cutest bikini from Makai Boutique, lathered up in one of the only tanning oils I think smells nice, Monoi Tiki Tahiti Oil.
