In the midst of MBFWA 14 it can get a little crazy. I find myself stressing about all the clothes i ‘need’ and how my credit card it going to afford it all. Unfortunately the material things, events and social appearances can begin to take over so much so that you begin to view life through an iphone camera. Literally.
I’m definitely guilty of the above but these days consciously trying to allocate time to fashion AND downtime to enjoy family, friends and travel, because really these are the experiences we recall in future stories (apart from the awesome pair of boots that you bought on discount, but i mean really that story is a seasonal subject).
But on the flipside social media isn’t all self indulgent. Forums like instagram and facebook give bloggers a voice to expose people and organisations that inspire us. So I thought I would take the opportunity to do so today, not because I was paid and not to preach, but to spread the word and share something beautiful.
The organisation is called “For The Animals” and is directed by a family friend. In an unjustifiably short intro, they are a charity dedicated to conservation projects across South East Asia’s forest, caring for injured and orphaned wildlife and fueling reforestation and conservation projects.
